My first time trying authentic South Korean food in Pretoria, South Africa

The 25th of January 2020, myself, my boyfriend and our friends went out to try some authentic Korean food. Shilla Korean Restaurant in Pretoria offers a excellent experience and good food. If you want to experience or try out Korean dishes but you aren't sure where to go, I highly recommend trying them out. The owner was welcoming and he gave us recommendations and even showed us how to traditionally eat Korean BBQ.

We tried Tteok-bokki, which is spicy rice cakes. I looks like spicy saucy pasty but the rice cakes are chewy and very filling. The flavours are amazing.

We then had a Korean BBQ with beef and pork which was so much fun and reminded us of South African Braai's.

Overall I highly recommend this restaurant and the experience if you are looking to try something new.
