Annyeonghaseyo - 안녕하세요

This year has been busy and difficult for a lot of people across the globe, especially for my favourite country South Korea due to the Corona Virus.

On a personal scale I have also been side tracked with work pressure and studies, but because like carries on and we all need to keep moving forward, I have decided to post a blog post about Korean Calligraphy.

I first saw it in the Goblin Aka Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, so during one night of aimless searching to distract myself from all things Corona related I came across an article about Korean Calligraphy.

"Seoye" which is the Korean name for Korean Calligraphy is the art of writing elegantly. It comes from the Chinese Calligraphy and in the beginning it was written in Chinese characters but more recent in Hangul. It takes years to master but is still regarded as one of Korea's visual art and forms part of Korea's history and cultural identity.

I want to add this as a bucket list item going forward to start, I think its beautiful and it highlights everything I adore about the Korean culture.

Love 바바라
